By downloading, installing, or using the SlabScout mobile application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App. The App is operated by Askbuc Inc. ("Company," "we," "us," or "our").
SlabScout is a mobile application that uses artificial intelligence to scan and identify trading cards, including sports cards, Pokémon cards, and other collectible cards. The App provides card identification, grading information lookup, and estimated market values based on publicly available data.
You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS.
Card Identification: While we strive for accuracy, we do not guarantee that card identifications will be 100% accurate. AI-powered identification may produce errors, especially with damaged, altered, or unusual cards.
Pricing Information: Market values and pricing data are estimates based on publicly available information and should not be relied upon as definitive valuations. Actual sale prices may vary significantly.
Grading Verification: While we verify PSA certification numbers against PSA's database, we are not affiliated with PSA, BGS, SGC, CGC, or any grading company. Our verification is for informational purposes only.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL ASKBUC INC., ITS DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, PARTNERS, AGENTS, SUPPLIERS, OR AFFILIATES BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM:
The App and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Askbuc Inc. and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the App without our prior written consent.
The App may display pricing data, images, or other content from third-party sources. We do not control and are not responsible for third-party content. Trading card images, player likenesses, team logos, and related intellectual property belong to their respective owners.
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Askbuc Inc. and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, or expenses arising from your use of the App or violation of these Terms.
We may terminate or suspend your access to the App immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the App will immediately cease.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the App shall be resolved in the courts of competent jurisdiction.
We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of any changes by posting the new Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the App after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
